Thea Margaret Woods

Thea Margaret Bergstedt Woods, 81, of Fuquay Varina went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, February 09, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born June 30, 1929 in Tioga, ND to the late Mons and Elisa (Muri) Antonson.

She was preceded in death by husbands Vernon A. Bergstedt and William S. Woods, and sister Borgny Antonson.

Thea is survived by six children, Vernon Bergstedt (Yong) of Sanford, NC, Mark Bergstedt (Julie) of Westerville, OH, Kevin Bergstedt (Donna) of Wake Forest, NC, Robert Bergstedt (Vickie) of Winterville, NC, Lisa Andresen (Rick) of Petaluma, CA, DeAnn Tuell (Russell) of Fuquay Varina, NC; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 100 West Lochmere Drive, Cary. Inurnment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:45 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s research foundation.
