Having just seen your father the Tuesday before, I could not believe my eyes when I saw his name in the newspaper. I know how much he was missing his sweet Rose and take comfort that he is happily reunited with her and your sister, Leslie.  Meeting your parents was a wonderful blessing to me.  Their love and devotion to one another was a joy to experience. It was always a treat to see them both and hear their stories (ie, your dad posing as a limo driver, your mom regaling me with the excitement of grandchilren's wedding and the birth of great grandchildren). 
I know the Holy Spirit will be comforting you in the loss of your father. Remembering you and your families with loving thoughts and prayers for healing.

    We were so sorry to read about your Dad.  He was a long time customer of Atlantic Tire and Service.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone.  He often spoke of your Mom, Rose, and the rest of his family. Dear Laurie, Ross, Lynda, Vinnie and grandchildren. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your father, father-in-law and grandfather, my heart goes out to you all. Ted was a one of a kind, he brought laughter and love to all he touched.  He as your mom will be sadly missed, but not forgotten.  All us knew him will have fond memories in our hearts.

Sincerest sympathy on the loss of your Dad, Father-in-Law and Grandfather - I have wonderful memories of him from my childhood and as an adult.  He was a warm, humble and talented man who will be missed by many and forgotten by none.  He is at peace now with his beautiful girls Rose and Leslie.  One thing that always sticks in my mind about your parents was how much in love they were with each other - it was impossible to miss just being in their company.  May wonderful memories sustain you at this sad time - through them they will live on forever.

A sister's farewell - from Audrey

As my big brother, Ted had a personality that was mischievous and he always found himself in the forefront when we were kids. And as all siblings do, we had our ups & downs, our laughs, our tears and our triumphs. We teased and goaded each other, but I could always count on him to protect me. He was my big brother.
But what do you say about someone after a lifetime of 88 years, to cover all the moments in time? As we grew up, we each pursued our dreams and our own lives. And as most young people do, Ted met and married his love, Rose D'Agostino, who also happened to be a good friend of mine. Both Ted and Rose were instrumental in my meeting his best friend, Richard Weber, who later became my husband. (From that moment on, Ted would always accuse me of stealing his best friend.)
Through the years, as married couples, the both of us eventually had three daughters. When our families were young, we visited each other occasionally. Then changes came when we moved away and the miles separated us, making visits less frequent. 
My big regret today is that Ted did not live long enough to celebrate with me in May of this year, at the wedding of my grandson, Brian. It would have been quite an amazing time to party with him in Vegas!
As we all see a life which was well lived to end, this man, this father, this brother, will certainly not be forgotten. 
He had many friends, but the one thing most precious was his love for his family and their love and tenderness for him. He was given love and he gave back love ten-fold. 
To my nieces and their families, I give my deepest sorrow and love. My brother had a good life, a happy life, and a full life. The moments we shared and the memories we have will keep him alive eternally

Dear Laurie, Lynda and families: We were so saddened to hear of Uncle Ted's passing. Ted's personality could light up a room and he knew how to put a smile on your face. He loved to have fun. I remember when my sisters and I visited Uncle Ted and Aunt Rose in the late ‘60s. We had a pillow fight – Ted against the kids. He lured us “unsuspecting” children out onto the lawn. . . .and then turned on the sprinklers!! Ted will be forever in our hearts, and memories of him will always bring a smile. With deepest sympathy and prayers…..

Sorry to hear about Uncle Ted.  It is good to know thought, that he is joining Aunt Rose and the rest of the family who have passed in a better place.

Very sorry to hear of Uncle Ted's passing. Thinking of you and your families. Please know that when I think of Uncle Ted, smiles and laughter are connected to my wonderful memories of him. I loved his feisty and fun nature. He will be missed.

This very likeable man was my Uncle Ted…and what I will remember about him is this:
He was easy-going, fun-loving, and he made people laugh. Is there any better way to go through life than that? He left his mark on everyone who knew him… a long-lasting smile! We will all miss him dearly.

Laurie, Ross, Lynda, Vinnie and extended families, I was extremely saddened to hear of Uncle Ted's passing.  I do know for sure, that Aunt Rose and Leslie welcomed him to his new home in heaven.  I have such fond memories of my many visits when Uncle Ted with help me with art projects and how we would compare our dogs to see who had the best behaved pet.  To me Uncle Ted was special and will always remain in my heart forever.  I love you all.
