

He is reunited in Heaven with the love of his life, Rose DeBrocky and their daughter, Leslie DeBrocky-Fusfeld. He is survived by his daughters, Laurie Cherico and her husband, Ross, and Lynda Atalese and her husband, Vincent; his nieces; and sister, Audrey Weber.
Opa will forever be loved and missed by his 12 grandchildren: Ross C. Cherico (Anya), Christopher Cherico (Amy), Ted Cherico (Cheryl), Lindsay Lewis (Jason), Leslie Markham (Mike), Alyssa Truesdale (David), Jeremy Mackay (Jen), Samantha Masabny (Rob), Nicole DeBrocky-Fusfeld, Leila Vaughan, Lindsay Fusfeld and Zach Fusfeld; and 8 great-grandchildren: Kyrstie, Courtney, Morgan, Kaylee, Wyatt, Sophia, Lakelynn and Stella.
Ted’s family will miss his never ending jokes, stories of his time in the Navy, his countless memories of falling in love with “Mema”, his award winning carvings and paintings, flying his remote controlled airplanes, fighting for their place to be his “#1” grandkid and his overall artistic touch on life.
The family will receive family and friends at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary.
