Thomas Homer Buzzard

Thomas “Tom” Buzzard, 75, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025. Born on April 2, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

Tom was the proud owner of Tom Buzzard Co. Roofing for over 30 years. Known for his integrity and dedication to quality work, Tom built a business that earned the trust and respect of the community. In recent years, Tom’s daughter Terry and son-in-law Jeff Stanley joined him in the business, and they will continue his legacy with the same dedication and care.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Buzzard; daughters Jennifer Amari (daughter Sunny Amari Rizzo) and Terry Stanley (husband Jeff Stanley and son Mason Stanley); stepchildren Nathan Price (wife Liz Kelly and daughter Liona Stebbins) and Heather Davis. He is also survived by his siblings Pam Erb, Rod Buzzard, Pete Buzzard, Anita Smotherman and many nieces and nephews.

Everyone who knew Tom knew of his generous and compassionate spirit; he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness, wisdom, and dedication to family and community will be deeply missed.
