Timothy James Ambrose

He is survived by his wife, Kala Ambrose; his son, Brandon Ambrose; his brothers, Patrick Ambrose of Seminole, FL, Dave Ambrose of Flemington, New Jersey, and Tom Ambrose of Tampa, FL; and sister, Noreen Ambrose of Dunedin, FL.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Tampa College, he dedicated his life to his passion of IT including the last sixteen years at Cisco Systems, winning awards including the Cisco IT Champion Award for Leadership and Initiative. His hobbies included building computers, playing with his beloved dog, Griffin, and exploring the greater mysteries and philosophies of life with his wife.

He had the great gift of knowing what he loved to do, working with technology and being able to pursue this passion in his life. He built his first computer and wrote his first software program while in high school. He leaves behind memories of being both an incredibly talented professional and a loving and devoted husband and father.

A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Friday, March 27, 2015 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Following the service, the family will receive friends and work colleagues.
