Verna Mae is survived by two children, son, Bill Holder and wife, Betty Lynn of New Hill, NC, daughter, Sue Bolton and husband, Randy of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Christopher L. Bolton and Vanessa E. Holder; brothers, Leon Capps of Goldsboro, NC, Bob Capps of Knightdale, NC, sister, Rosa Lee Gautier of Clinton, NC.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Wendell, NC.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 27 from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 117 S. Academy St., Cary, NC.
