William Lorimer Hicks

William was born December 9, 1949 in Kearny, NJ and was raised in Irvington, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela Marinaccio Hicks; parents, William Joseph Hicks and Shirley Cecilia Haas Hicks of Matawan, NJ; son, Michael William Hicks of Cary, NC; daughter, Alisa Beth Hicks Wilson and her husband, Craig of Cary, NC; and grandsons Aidan James and Brett William Wilson.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rita Marinaccio of Matawan, NJ; sister-in-law Patricia McTague and her husband, Thomas of Matawan, NJ; sister-in-law Maureen Gallo and her husband, William of Matawan; brother in-law Robert Marinaccio and his wife, Bonnie of Matawan; brother-in-law Michael Marinaccio and his wife, Veronica of Hazlet, NJ; uncle, Daniel Hicks Jr. of Keansburg, NJ; aunts, Pat Kotchkowski of Toms River, NJ and Rita Farley of Middlesex, NJ; godchildren, Melissa White of Hazlet NJ and Nicole Bouffard of Eatontown, NJ as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was employed by Bradco Suppy Corp, Avenel, NJ and Murphy Transportation, Middletown, NJ.

The family will receive friends 2-6pm, with a memorial service at 5 pm, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 U.S. 9, Old Bridge Township, NJ 08857.
