Asa Lee “Ace”Fryhover, 85, of Coolidge, passed away on April 27, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Monroe, Oklahoma, to William Harvey and Virginia Pauline Fryhover. He was the eldest of seven children, with one brother, Charles (deceased), and five sisters, Betty, Mary (deceased), Sharon, Gloria, and Pam. He was a beloved uncle to his dear, loving nieces and nephews.
Ace was a quiet, kind, and deeply loving man. He was no stranger to hard work, spending many years farming and later working for John Deere. He was rarely seen without his signature attire - his favorite Levi’s, a long-sleeve button-down shirt, and boots - with a cup of cowboy coffee never far from reach.
A simple man at heart, Ace found his greatest joy in life’s everyday moments. He loved the Arizona desert, hunting and fishing with his boys, sipping coffee on the back porch, and playing Farkle with his beloved wife. Above all, he cherished his family and the life they had built together.
Ace shared 62 years of steadfast, devoted love with his wife - a marriage that stood as a true example of faithfulness and enduring commitment.
He is survived by his loving wife Virginia; his four children, Sheila (Frank), Brian (Michelle), Allen (Deborah), and Jeffrey (Becky); his eight grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Kristan, Jade, Wyatt, Colton, Mackenzie, and Logan; and his great-grandchild, Eden.
Ace’s life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the strength of quiet love, and the importance of family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
His family will honor his memory and have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
