It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Danielle Ann Owen (nee Imse), who unexpectedly passed away at her home in Maricopa, Arizona on November 8th, 2025. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on September 22nd, 1972 to her loving parents Robert Otto Imse and Nancy Ann Imse (nee Larson). Danielle and her family moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1986 and eventually settled in Maricopa in 2005 with her husband where they raised their two children. Danielle worked in the senior healthcare industry for over 30 years where she not only served her community, but deeply touched the lives of many. She most recently worked for Senior Care AZ and absolutely adored everyone involved in the company. In fact, she recently celebrated her 3rd anniversary with them.
Danielle loved reading, crocheting, painting, and absolutely loved watching her favorite dog videos on Facebook, especially Princess Poppy, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She would take her son out to lunch on days she went into the office and took her daughter out to Dutch Bros after a long day. It seemed like Danielle never had a bad day as her attitude was always positive and she constantly wore a smile on her face. She was genuinely sincere and kind to everyone she interacted with on a daily basis.
Married to her husband, Neil Owen, on April 23rd, 2005, they brought into this world two unbelievably spectacular children, Ashton Robert and Makayla Ann. Danielle always expressed how proud she was of her children's accomplishments, but most importantly what wonderful people they’ve turned out to be. Danielle was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and an extraordinary human being.
Besides her husband, children, and faithful dog of almost 14 years, Zoey Ann, she is survived by brothers Michael (Melissa) Imse of Woodbury, MN, David (Angela) Imse of Reno, NV, Matthew Imse of Chandler, AZ, and her sister Sara Imse of Mesa, AZ. Additional survivors include her 21 nieces and nephews, 2 aunts, and best friends since high school, Mere Bradley and Jay Hyde.
A celebration of life will be planned in early 2026 and as soon as a date, time, and location is set, an announcement will be sent out.
