Parents, Milton Kihlstrom and Doris (Nelson) Kihlstrom, welcomed Dennis into the world on July 31, 1945 in Sheyenne, North Dakota. The family moved to New Rockford, North Dakota; Doris later married Ted Webber. Growing up in North Dakota meant many adventures on the farm and prairie.
Dennis left small town life and moved to Seattle, Washington where he met and married his wife, Jane Elizabeth. Dennis and Jane journeyed through life together for 57 years; this life was full of adventure, family, friends and good food.
Dennis loved his garden. In some locations this garden was a few containers. In other locations the garden was much larger and included everything from cooking vegetables to leafy greens to a fruit orchard. Dennis also loved cooking. He could be found in the kitchen making fresh biscotti and bread, preparing dinner for his family, or dreaming up multi-course feasts for friends. In his younger years, Dennis enjoyed fishing and camping.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Jane; children Kristy (Jason) Bowers and Mark (Liz) Kihlstrom; grandchildren Levi Juchau, Jillian (Bryce) Templeman, Lilli Kihlstrom and Emmet Kihlstrom; and great-grandson Orin Templeman; sisters Doreen Weber and Kerrie (Mike) Stoller; and brothers Curtis (Rita) Kihlstrom, and Kyle Webber.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Dennis on Saturday October 3rd from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Robson Ranch Cheyenne/Laredo Room 5750 N. Robson Blvd.. Eloy, AZ. 85131
