April 23, 1938 – July 5, 2025
Francis “Frank” Zecca, a one-of-a-kind soul known for his
quick wit, boundless humor, and big heart, passed away
peacefully on July 5, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April
23, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, Frank brought laughter and
joy to everyone lucky enough to know him.
A true Brooklyn original—tough, warm, and endlessly
funny—Frank had a rare gift for turning ordinary moments
into unforgettable stories. His sharp sense of humor and
easy charm made him the life of every gathering.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves, and carried
his strong sense of duty and patriotism throughout his life.
He found joy in the simple pleasures: the quiet thrill of
fishing and the excitement of the casino, always chasing the
next big catch or lucky streak with a sparkle in his eye.
He was a devoted father to his daughter, Gina Kramer, and a
proud grandfather to Trevor Kramer, who was the light of his
life. He is also survived by his loving sister, Adele Pacello, and
his brother, James Zecca. He was predeceased by his
brother, Victor Zecca. Frank also had many nieces and
nephews whom he loved deeply and who brought him great
pride and joy.
Frank’s larger-than-life spirit and infectious laughter leave a
lasting mark on all who knew him. He will be remembered as
someone who made the world not only brighter—but a
whole lot funnier.
