Jose was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed being surrounded by family and close friends. He dedicated his life to agriculture, farming and as a cattleman working for Clayton Cattle Company in Welton, Arizona. He ultimately retired from Pinal Feeding Company in Maricopa after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Cardenas; daughter Evangelina Cardenas and five grandchildren, Jose Cardenas, Lysette Cardenas, Ivan Cardenas, Dominic Cardenas-Alvarado and Joaquin Alvarado. Preceded in death by his son, Gabriel; siblings, Eulalia, Refugio and Martin; in addition to his parents, Felipe and Esperanza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2025, 9:00a.m - 11:00a.m; followed by Catholic Scripture Service at 11:00a.m, both at J Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, Casa Grande. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Casa Grande.
