July 22, 1962 – July 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laurie Anne Miller, who passed away peacefully at home on July 5, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by the love of her family.
Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane Nissen, and her father, Keith Lee Robison.
She leaves behind her devoted husband and eternal companion, Richard Miller; her son, Tyler Miller; her daughter, Tawnya Miller; her daughter-in-law, Amber Miller; her cherished grandchildren, Aiden Miller, Mallorie Chaney, Brielle Miller, Bryson Miller, Mazie Miller, Aviyana Montijo, and Mikayla Montijo; and her beloved sisters, Linda Friedel, Brenda Adler, Elizabeth Van Asma, and Lisa Hewitson.
Laurie found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved traveling and exploring new places, researching and preserving her family’s history, and spending time at her second home in Pinetop-Lakeside, where many treasured memories were made with family and friends. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being “Grandma.” She delighted in creating lasting memories with her seven grandchildren, whose lives were forever enriched by her unconditional love, gentle guidance, and unwavering support.
Laurie was deeply devoted to her Savior, Jesus Christ, and strongly believed in giving back to her community which was demonstrated by her spiritual foundation and practical commitment to her church callings and her volunteer service with the Casa Grande Police Department. She generously dedicated her time and compassion to helping others, quietly making a difference in the lives of many.
Above all else, Laurie was the cornerstone of her family. She was a source of strength, wisdom, kindness, and unconditional love. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and acceptance, and she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the memories she created, and the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide us every day. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1555 N. Colorado Street, Casa Grande, Arizona 85122.
