A man of many talents and interests, Leo had an enduring passion for aviation. He found great happiness in flying and restoring aircraft and was proud to share that passion with his son Bernie. Never really done with anything, he left many projects on the drafting table and continued to dream big right to the end.
Leo cherished time spent with his family and friends, reflecting on the past and sharing stories that combined humor, wisdom, and warmth. His presence will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Judy of 66 year; his children Donna (Daniel) Apodaca and Bryan (Jamie) Pittman; sister Janice Roberts (Alabama) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons Bernie and Keith, as well as his parents, with whom he now finds eternal peace.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all friends, neighbors, and loved ones who were part of Leo’s life. His legacy lives on in every life he touched. The family would like to extend an invitation to a gathering of remembrance of Leo’s life. Friday July 25, 2025, at 6pm at 601 E. Silver Reef Rd. Casa Grande, AZ.
