Linda Lee Noble

Born on January 22, 1950, in Minot, North Dakota, Linda’s early years were shaped by the warmth and perseverance of her community—a spirit she would carry forth throughout her life. As a young woman, she answered the call to teach, embarking on a career in education that spanned 35 years in Fairview, North Dakota. Linda’s commitment to her work was unwavering; her passion shone brightest in her favorite classroom, teaching eighth grade, where she guided her students with grace, wisdom, and patience.

Though Linda did not have children of her own, she embraced her students as family. She took great pride in their growth and achievements, fostering an environment where every child felt seen and supported. Her classroom was a safe haven for those seeking encouragement, a place where young people found their confidence and their voices.

Outside of her professional life, Linda’s days were enriched by a wide circle of interests and hobbies. She could often be found engrossed in a good book, sharing laughter with friends over a game of golf or bowling, or delighting in the company of beloved dogs who faithfully accompanied her journeys. Linda’s love for travel was well known; she relished exploring new places, always returning home with stories and a deepened appreciation for the world’s wonders.

Linda is survived by her devoted spouse, James Noble, whose partnership brought her great joy and companionship. She also leaves behind treasured memories with friends and acquaintances whose lives were brightened by her kindness and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Paulson, and by Delores Kallevig and Lavern Kallevig, who also held important places in her heart.

Linda Lee Noble’s legacy endures in the hearts of all who knew her. Her compassion, commitment to education, and zest for life will remain an inspiring example for generations to come. She will be dearly missed and ever fondly remembered.
