She was loved by many. Malinda enjoyed spending her time at the community elderly center, embroidering, doing puzzles, and spending her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Malinda is survived by her three daughters: Evelyn Justin, Paulette Kisto, and Paula Pete. Siblings; Phoebe Rosales, Louise Mungia, Penrose Sr., Abe, Leroy Fulwilder, Johnnie Chiago, Karen Davis, and five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Malinda was preceded in death by her biological parents, Jackson Chiago and Elsie Hart; adopted parents, Jose and Theresa Pablo; husband, Earl Pete Sr., two sons, Ernest and Earl Jr. Pete.
Services for Malinda will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026. Mass - 4:30 pm at St. Francis of Assisi. Wake / Rosary, 6:00 pm at Pete Residence 47297 W. Farrell Rd, Maricopa.
Burial will be held at 7:00 am - Ak-Chin Cemetery.
