Maria Elisa Sanchez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Elisa Sanchez-Villanueva, age 83, died June 27, 2026, at 2:45 am in Casa Grande, Arizona. She was born January 5, 1943, in Pajacuaran, Michoacán- Mexico. She was married to Francisco Sanchez-Ochoa for 58 years.

She leaves behind 7 children:

Anna Rosa Lopez, Lucy Vega, Melania Ritchie, Frank Sanchez, America Cervantes, Sandra Sanchez, and Saul Sanchez.

And 32 grandchildren:

Mary Ann, Jennifer, George, Alex, Adrian, Angie, Ariana, Abbey, Aubree, Chris, Melanie, Kamille, Natalia, Nicole, Austin, Gisselle, Ivan, Getsy, Stevan, Isabella, Adrian, Crystal, Lydia, Italie, Alexys, Jordin, Zach, Kandace, Dominic, Sebastian, Jacob, Mollie.

And 16 great-grandchildren: Ronnie, Annaleah, Arabella, Rodolfo, Gabriel, Aidan, Eli, AJ, Ian, Ivan, Raelani, Belen Sofia, Evan, Sarai, Andres, and Emilio.

She will be greatly missed.

A Prayer Service will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd., Casa Grande, AZ 85122, US, on July 9, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by Visitation at the same location on July 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Religious Ceremony will take place at St Anthony's of Padua Community Center, 150 N Drylake St, Casa Grande, AZ 85122, US, on July 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium, 15506 W Skyway Ave, Casa Grande, AZ 85193, US, on July 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
