Terry Todd Starz, 63, passed away peacefully in Casa Grande, Arizona, on July 13, 2026. Born on May 9, 1963, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Terry lived a life defined by steady devotion, resilient courage, and a charismatic, playful spirit that brought joy to everyone he met.
Terry’s greatest legacy is the beautiful life he built with the love of his life, Ruth Adele Starz. Met in California and married for 32 wonderful years, their partnership was grounded in enduring love and steadfast support. Together, they raised two daughters, Shawna Baumann and Tracy Hansen, who were Terry’s ultimate pride and joy.
Professionally, Terry dedicated 20 years as a talented videographer for KELO-TV in Sioux Falls. Known for his fierce loyalty and selfless work ethic, he approached every assignment with care and kindness, earning the deep respect and trust of his colleagues and community.
Outside of work, Terry embraced life with adventurous enthusiasm. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, snow skier, and boater who found peace and excitement in the great outdoors. Music was another lifelong passion; as a talented drummer and an ultimate RUSH fan, he proudly rocked out at 19 of their concerts.
Terry's kind-hearted nature, deep loyalty, and brilliant sense of humor made the world a lighter, brighter place. He will be profoundly missed.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Judy Starz.
