Timothy Craig Whitford

Timothy Craig Whitford, 86, of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Arizona State Veteran’s Home in Tuscan, Arizona.

Tim was born on June 10, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jack Duncan Whitford and Jeannette Ivey Whitford.

Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army as member of the 101st Airborne Division. His military service reflected his dedication to his country, and he carried the same commitment and sense of duty through his life. Tim owned and operated his own insurance brokerage as a hardworking and independent businessman. He was a member of the VFW 1677. Tim was a dedicated member of AA for 48 years. He was compassionate and committed and always willing to help others. Tim also had a deep, unwavering love for his animals.

Tim shared his life with his best friend and beloved wife, Patricia DeMarino Whitford. Tim and Patricia raised their children in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Joshua Whitford of Arizona and Dr. Lara Whitford of Arizona. Tim also has two sons, Timothy Jr. (Sylvia) Whitford of Ohio and Jack (Joelle) Whitford of Ohio. Tim has two surviving brothers who also served in the military, Peter (Adele) Whitford of Virginia and Richard (Sherry) Whitford of Florida. His devotion as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather has left a legacy to live on through his 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Tim’s life was one of service, perseverance, friendship and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered love, friendship, kindness, and support to Tim and his family throughout the years.

His final resting place will be at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Marana at a later date.
