Valerie Anne DePonty passed away suddenly from natural causes on May 30, 2026. She will be remembered for her huge heart and deep compassion for others. Valerie was born to Loretta (McAvoy) DePonty and John DePonty in Spokane, Washington, on November 24, 1951. She had one sister, Yvonne, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2025.
Valerie is survived by her son Jersy, daughter-in-law Catherine, grandchildren Olivia and Ruby, daughter Jenta, son-in-law Javier, grandchildren Katie and Roan, niece Lori and nephew Frank. Her generous nature and welcoming home will be missed by all who knew her.
