Adene "Deanie" Elsner

Adene Elsner grew up in Elbert Colorado. She had a love of horses, it was during high school she acquired her horse, Brandy. Adene purchased her own home in 2005. She was proud of her achievement. Within her home with such a passion, she had over 1,ooo books in her collection. Adene loved to cook specializing in Greek food.

Her biggest passion was gardening. She loved to be barefoot with dirt under her fingernails. Adene shared her love of nature with Terri her only daughter. Terri gave Adene 3 beautiful granddaughters, Shyan, Autumn and Ireland.

Adene received a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in technical writing. She retired from Colorado Dept. of Health and Environmental Services, Lab Division.

December of 2014 Adene was diagnosed with breast cancer. On February 3 2015 she had surgery. Due to complications that arose after surgery, Adene passed while in Denver Hospice with her daughter and 3 granddaughters, her entourage as they were known, by her side. Adene is survived by her Mother Nellie, Sister Sheryl her husband Charles, Daughter Terri , 3 granddaughters Shyan, Autumn, Ireland, two nieces Kellie and Samantha, her husband Paul and their son.
