She married Floyd (Barney) Johnson August 25, 1935 and had two children Norma born May 18, 1940 and Durwood born September 22, 1947. While Barney served in WWII, Anna and Norma lived with family and she worked at Coors Porcelain in Golden. After Barney’s discharge in 1945 they moved to the ranch at Fondis. Anna raised calves, chickens, sold eggs and helped Barney as a substitute on his rural mail route. In 1973 Anna contracted for a mail route and drove 73 miles a day, six days a week for 19 years, retiring at the age of 81.
