

Bertrand Phillip LaFontaine, 77, of Palmer Lake, went to the Lord October 28, 2012. Bert was born at Saint Mary's Hospital on September 9, 1935 in Buffalo, New York, the son of Joseph LaFontaine and Charlotte Bertrand. On October 17, 1969 he married his wife Linda in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a retired aircraft, aerospace and commercial engineer. Above all, Bert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family with all that he was and would do anything for them. He is survived by his brother Jack LaFontaine and his wife Patty of Bermuda Dunes, California, his sister Patricia Field and her husband Steven of Thousand Oaks, California, his daughters Laurie Quam and her husband John of Westminster, Colorado, Lisa Mosher and her husband Michael of Castle Rock, Colorado, LeAnn Robinson and her husband Randolph of Littleton, Colorado, Nicole Garza of Corona, California; his son Daniel and his wife Mindy of Northport, Maine, Joseph LaFontaine and his wife Kyimberley of Fresno, California; his grandchildren Kristin McCollam and her husband Richard, Shannon Kelly, Joshua Mosher, Matthew Robinson, Lucas LaFontaine, Jonathan Robinson, Ryan LaFontaine, Sarah-Renee LaFontaine, Alyssa Brown, Seraphim Peters; his great-grandchildren Jennifer McCollam, Trisha McCollam, Tyler McCollam, Jessica McCollam, Gavin Warner-Robinson. The loss of Bert to his family and friends will no doubt leave them with a huge void in their lives.
Bert is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lafontaine; his brothers Raymond Lafontaine, Robert LaFontaine, Richard LaFontaine; his daughter Lynette LaFontaine-Trujillo.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Castlewood Canyon Church, 389 Castlewood Canyon Rd, Franktown, CO.
