Caleb Jack McCune passed away peacefully at his home on 07/22/2026 after a 20-month battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. Caleb was born on October 24, 2008 in Denver, CO. His early childhood was spent in Aurora before moving to Castle Rock in 2016. Caleb attended Flagstone Elementary, Sage Canyon Elementary, Renaissance Secondary School, and Douglas County High School.
Caleb was a kind, generous young man who loved cars, basketball, Pokémon cards, claw machines, shopping at the mall, travel, his family, and his girlfriend Camila. He will be greatly missed by both friends and family. Caleb is survived by his mother, Emily Baker, brothers Aiden McCune (19) and Watson Baker (8), sister Hayley Baker (7), and French bulldog Jackson of Castle Rock; his father and stepmom Ryan and Allison McCune, and stepsiblings Maddie (16), Hudson (12), Brody (10), and Wes (8) of Highlands Ranch; aunt Amanda, uncle Justin, and cousin Tate Furnish (9) of Grand Junction; and grandparents Jim and Jill Gibbens of Parker, and Ron and lone McCune of Castle Rock.
