

Carolyn Jeanette Evans, 74, passed away on March 28, 2026. Born in Canon City, Colorado on October 9, 1951, Carolyn was a beloved, cherished, hard-working woman whose life reflected steadfast dedication to both family and career.
Carolyn spent her childhood in Colorado and graduated from Ranum High School in Westminster, Colorado.
Carolyn devoted many years to a distinguished career in insurance, working diligently and purposefully throughout her professional life. Over the course of her career, she served with Colorado Farm Bureau, Republic Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, Colorado Division of Insurance, Reidman Insurance, VanGilder Insurance, and Cherry Creek Insurance Group (CCIG). Through perseverance and exceptional commitment, she eventually rose to Executive Vice President—an achievement she was deeply proud of.
On May 5, 1979, in Denver, Colorado, Carolyn married the love of her life, LeRoy “George” Evans. After their wedding, they shared over 46 wonderful years together, building a life grounded in devotion and enduring partnership.
Carolyn found joy in the quiet pleasures that made a home feel warm and welcoming. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, oil painting, and decorating her home—interests that reflected her creativity, thoughtfulness, and appreciation for time well spent.
Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband, George Evans; brothers Stan Bentley, Ken Bentley, and Lloyd Bentley; and sisters Leona Bentley and Connie Bentley.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104.
