With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved son and brother, Charles Montgomerie Davie, on August 7, 2025. He was 19 years old and brought joy, laughter, and light to all who knew him.
Charlie was known for his big heart, quick wit, and unmistakable presence. A true lover of ranch dressing, ping pong legend, committed nap taker, and undisputed best Fortnite player in the Davie house, he lived with passion and a sense of humor that lifted everyone around him.
We are so proud of his decision to be an organ donor. Even in his passing, his generous spirit continues - offering hope, healing, and life to others. His positive influence lives on in more way than we can count.
We ask for your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Your support and kindness mean more than words can express.
A memorial mass to celebrate Charlie's life was held on Friday, August 8, 2025 with a Rosary at 10:30am and Mass at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2746 Fifth St Castle Rock, Colorado 80104. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in honoring his memory. Following the service, we invite you to a reception at Casey Jones Pavilion, 4189 CO 86 Elizabeth, Colorado 80107 to share food, stories, laughters, and memories together.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie's memory to St. Mary's Catholic School in Bloomington, Illinois, Colorado Donor Alliance, or the Colorado Park and Wildlife - all causes that were close to his heart and reflect the kind person he was. We also ask you to consider registering as an organ donor, in honor of Charlie's selfless final gift.
And above all, we hope you'll take some time to enjoy the outdoors - breathe in the fresh air, enjoy an adventure with loved ones, and when you notice something truly beautiful, take a moment to think of Charlie.
With love and gratitude,
Brian, Julie, Alex, Haylee, Andrew, Alana, Tony, Scarlett, and Ava Davie
