He looks like a great guy and I wish the best to his family

Bob and I just found out.  We are so heartbroken for all of you.  I remember skiing with Marcus, Colton, Braedon and Bob, and spraying Colton with snow when I stopped.  He laughed and we all had such a fun time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and remember that he'll always live in your heart.

There are truly no words to heal your hurt right now.  We are heartbroken.  The entire community is grieving the loss of Colton and Audrey.  Please know that we are thinking of you every day.  May you find some comfort in knowing that Colton touched the hearts of so many people and his memory will live on forever.  We will forever have Colton's smile and fond memories of him playing basketball with Max in our hearts.  The kids were so funny...and competitive even back then. Always smiling. Colton was an incredible human being--gentle,  sensitive, exploding with life, KIND-always so incredibly kind. with such a huge heart..and that beautiful smile. 

I have no words. There simply are none. I'll leave it at I'm sorry and heartbroken for all three of you, but especially for Colton's very best friend in the world, and the person who was just like him at that age.  You two were the closest thing to clones I've ever seen. I. hope more than anything that the pain will someday eventually allow for some peaceful reflection on all the beautiful and happy memories. 

You were always one of his favorites, Colton. It was obvious why. It radiates in this photo. Give him a hug for me, and keep each other smiling.

We remember our trip to South Dakota last year so clearly!  Such a great trip!  Sadly, we only got one picture of Colton.  

Colton you were special. Such a great and bright person. Love you so much and know you will be watching over us. So grateful for the time that we had together. This picture we would look back and say how crazy it was growing up. You were the hardest worker too, at the gym, school, and at work. Thank you for everything you have done, life has been impacted forever 

Wonderful memories of our trip to Lake Pueblo during much happier times... There are not enough words to express our sadness about the heartbreaking loss of your sweet Colton.  Praying for peace and healing for you all.

Colt would always come in to Cava Mediterranean Grill in Castle Rock. Whenever he would come in. We would always hook him up with the goods. Gonna miss seeing his face and cracking jokes with him. Forever grateful to have met Colt and to have become such great friends with him.

Marcus and Teggie, we are so sorry for all you are going through. No words can take the pain away but know we love you guys ! Colton was such a good friend to Landon through the years. He will be missed dearly! We love you ! 

Colton was snowboarding with his Dad and I at Keystone two years ago.  It’s toward mid-day and Colton lags behind on a beginners run, falls and breaks his arm.  Even Superman falls sometimes.

Two years later, he looks like Superman, strong, confident and so much potential.

I will miss hearing your Dad say “he loves you”!  You two had a special relationship.

There are so many amazing memories, growing up with Colton is one of the best things anyone could wish for. We used to walk home from school together everyday, I think we literally made a song one day on the walk home. Colton would say the goofiest things just to make people around him happy. One of the best memories was when we built a bike jump in my backyard and he had no hesitation and launched off it. Of course he ate dirt but he had to jump it. Back to outdoor Ed him and I got in the same group and got to ride around together the whole day and had a blast, he told me I could go down stairs on a bike and he showed me how. I did exactly what he told me not to do, I tumbled down those stairs on my bike and we just laughed. I will forever miss the laughs we shared.

It is with great sadness that I am writing this to you; Colton will forever be in our memories. Cherishing the time we have with our kids and family is forefront. We  don't  know why God called Colton home early, but we do know He will use him in heaven. Colton is a strong sole. 

We love you all. The Dodd's and the HUB family.

Colton and his friend group invited me to workout with them at the local 24 hour fitness. Ever since that first lift he became one of my best friends. I loved the fact that no one ever had any bad thing to say about Colton. He always knew how to light up a room the second he walked in. His work ethic was unmatched. At school he got straight A’s. In the gym his progress was amazing. At work he always did his very best. Colton was one of the only people who was ok with giving me rides places when I didn’t have my driver’s license. He never complained. We worked out at 24 almost everyday with each other. He just had that drive that no one else had to be the very best. He was such a blessing to me, my friends, and everyone around him. I’ve known him for a long time, but was only close for about 2 years. In those 2 years of knowing him it felt like I had knew him for hundreds. It breaks my heart to see him go but wherever he is, he’s in a better place. 

You will forever be in all of our hearts Colton. I am blessed to be able to have memories of you in my life. You are a beautiful soul and will truly be missed.

Colton has been my Bestfriend since we started working out together about two years ago he has been the hardest worker I have ever met wether it was me and him working nights till midnight at smash burger singing and while we flip burgers and clean dishes, colton made everything we did together the funniest most happy thing ever, in the gym me and him would always be challenging eachother to WHOS stronger and who’s bigger, even when he was stronger or bigger he was always humble about it and push me to be my best. I love that kid and he will always be in my thoughts and heart. That’s my best friend wether it’s in this life or the next.

Before I got my license Colton would always pick me up to take me with him to the gym. 

I remember when Colton came to the office to hang out or get his teeth worked on he was such a sweet boy. He looked and acted just like you, and had your smile. I am so sorry for this tragic loss. Know you all are in our thoughts and continues prayers.

My prayers are with your family during this tragic time.  I knew Colton as a kindergartener.   I remember a sweet spirited little boy.  It seems from seeing messages from his classmate he grew to be a kind young man.  May memories of Colton and love from family and friends surround you all.
