Cyprian Galiz

Cyprian Galiz, 94, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2010 in Castle Rock, CO. She was born January 21, 1916 in Villanueva, NM. Beloved wife of the late Frank Galiz. Dear Mother of Francesca Galiz, Tonie Galiz (Richard Johnson), Carmen Lown (Craig Lown), Mikki Galiz Rowe (Ron Rowe); granddaughters, Courtnie Wondras (Joachim Wondras), Candice Lown (Simon Gemerek), Caitlin Rowe and great granddaughter, Taylor Bush.

Cyprian enjoyed being with family, her little dog Bonnie, reading and listening to music. Cyprian loved long walks with her daughters through the hills of Castle Rock. Her main occupation was being a loving wife and mother. She was a member of St. Leander Catholic Church in Pueblo, CO until 2004 and most recently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock. CO. She enjoyed church functions; fish frys, spaghetti dinners and she was a weekly volunteer for Visitation of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Francis of Assisi.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Olinger Andrews Mortuary (www.olingerandrews.com) in Castle Rock, CO. Viewing will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd; the Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. both at Olinger Andrews Mortuary. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4th at 10:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church followed by a luncheon. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo, CO at 3:00 p.m.
