My condolences. Mr. Mcgraw was a huge inspiration for me during my time at D.C. Oakes high school. I am a better man because of the investment of his time in my life, and the life of so many I know. The ripple he created will last for generations. I know it has been a long time since his passing, but better late than never! What a great man he was! Thank you for sharing him with us!

Dale was always a welcome face when he came in to sub for someone in our Science Department at Ponderosa.  He was dependable, caring and kind.  He was a passionate teacher and loved working with his students.  Dale made a difference.  Dale will be missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

There is a phrase "You don't know what you've got till it's gone".  This expresses my feelings when I learned that Dale was suddenly taken from us.  I have known Dale for over 21 years and have enjoyed his stories, appreciated his excellent work at the nursery and admired his dedication to his students.  Dale loved life and embraced it.  I learned this by listening to him talk about his family, his service to our country, and the students he taught and nurtured trusting relationships with. Dale was always a positive and trusted part of our team.  When I think of Dale, I will remember his hearty laugh, quick smile and wonderful stories. I will miss Dale greatly.

Your light continues to shine in each of our hearts, Dale!  Your gentle giant comfort, wisdom and discernment radiate brightly.

Colossians 3:12 reminds me of Dale's prayer shawl ministry.  "Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience."  Dale always approached life with the kindness and compassion that are a natural result of a patient heart and mind. I will miss him dearly as an educational colleague, my Stephen Ministry Buddy, and a sincere friend.

Dale was the best brother anyone could ever have! We had great times together with our horses.  He was my only sibling, and we were close,so he will be sorely missed!!!  I'll see you again, Dale.  God Bless

I knew Mac for 47 years! I worked with him, lived with him, and was a babysitter for his kids. We worked hard, and at times played hard. I will forever cherish the memories of his friendship.

DALE, I HAVE KNOWN AND WORKED WITH YOU FOR ALMMOST TWENTY YEARS AND YOU WERE ALWAYS SUCH A HAPPY GUY!  ALTHOUGH, I WORKED IN THE OFFICE AND DID NOT GET TO SEE YOU ALL THE TIME, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE STORIES YOU SHARED WITH ME, ESPECIALLY ABOUT YOUR TIME IN THE AIR FORCE, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.  ALSO, THE STORIES ABOUT SOME OF YOUR STUDENTS AND HOW WE TALKED ABOUT THE TEENAGERS OF TODAY.  DALE, I WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH, BUT KNOW YOU ARE WITH OUR BLESSED SAVIOR.  WE WILL TALK AGAIN SOMEDAY. Mcgraw was such an awesome person, I am blessed to have known him and learned from him, he always had that sense of humor, made me laugh every time :) he has touched so many people's lives and will be missed. Love you Mr. Mcgraw <3

I remember hanging out with McGraw in his truck jammin out to the blues! He was by far one of the best mentors and substitutes anyone could ask for. Keep em laughing up there McGraw. We love you

mr mcgraw was by far the absolute best teacher i have ever had its a tragic loss and a huge blow to our hearts you will forever be missed and loved by all.

Over the last 26 years Dale has planted I would guess millions of trees shrubs and perennials, helping to make Colorado green. I have worked with Dale for the last 16 year at Country Lane Wholesale Nursery. 
As a team we have grown Native and other Landscape plants from cuttings, division and seeds, and of course the coveted hunt of when and where to unearth the best seeds to be collected, one of his favorite hobbies.
As Growers (A tight knit community) we have had close contact on all aspects of this wondrous life. 
On Friday I called to say happy birthday, he was his happy jovial self, and as usual he was excited to inform me that he had collected more seeds of a dwarf blue rabbitbrush that he just loved, and we can't produce enough of, for the Nursery Trade. 
So we talked for a while and said our goodbyes, sure to see him early next week! 
What a shock! That night I found my beautiful friend had gone home to his joyous rest. 
Although I am happy for him, there is a great sadness in my heart, for the loss of the continued sharing of this awesome life with him from day to day. 
This is an end of an era for me. 
DALE THE HONOR HAS BEEN ALL MINE!!!

Mcgraw was the kind of man that would sub for a math class and i would walk out knowing more about geography, politics, science and more. he was loved and he will be missed

It was wonderful to work with a man who displayed such kindness, care, compassion and love for our students at DC Oakes.  He will be missed.

I was priveledged to serve in the Air Force with Dale. Although our paths went seperate ways I continued to think of him and the others that we spent time with. I searched for him for years without success hoping we could share our life's stories and the friendship we had. A good man has left us.
Rest easy my friend you are at piece now.
