She is survived by her five children—Kevin, Suzan, Dana, Chad, and Cody, eight beloved grandchildren, and her faithful pup, Laredo.
Born on July 14, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, Dana began her career as a flight attendant with United Airlines in 1967. She served with dedication for 14 years, retiring in 1981. Her time in the skies was marked by a deep commitment to caring for others.
Dana had a love for handwritten letters and the thoughtful art of sending mail. She enjoyed playing board games, especially Trivial Pursuit, and had a lifelong affection for dogs—particularly Old English Sheepdogs. Above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Her presence, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
