Debra Sharane, 62, passed away in June 2026. She was born on June 15, 1963, and grew up in Southern California. Her early life was filled with a love of dance, sunshine, and the open water. At the time of her passing, Deb was a resident of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Throughout her life, Deb worked hard and embraced adventure. Her willingness to begin again through each of life's changes reflected her resilience, adaptability, and commitment to her family. She had a genuine desire to do her best, give of herself, and care for others. "Get out and live a little!" was one of her favorite pieces of advice—a simple phrase that perfectly reflected the way she approached life and encouraged others to do the same.
Deb's joy for life was often expressed through the things that made her feel most alive: dancing at live concerts, jet-skiing, hiking, and savoring the beautiful Colorado sunshine. She loved cooking and was known for making enchiladas for every special occasion. A vegetarian for many years and a follower of Buddhism, Deb carried a deep respect for all living things—values that guided her interactions with the world.
Above all, Deb will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Desiree Anthony Harmon; Steven Tomaszewski II (Christine); Staci Toma Cotten (Chris); and Ry Sharane; her grandsons, Brendon Wolsey, Malachi Gillespie, Izaiah Cotten, Oliver Cotten, and Auric Harmon; her mother, June Weaver; and her brothers, Richard Weaver and Robert Weaver (Julie).
A simple but enduring principle guided Deb's life: always try to do the right thing. That unwavering conviction remains a lasting part of the legacy she leaves with all who knew and loved her.
