Devin Reed Searcey, 29, of Parker, Colorado, was the kind of person who arrived like sunlight: warm, bright, and impossible not to notice. With her signature natural deep red hair and striking blue eyes, she made her presence known the moment she walked into a room. Born in Nebraska, she carried with her a fearless spirit and a love for living that never asked for permission. She moved through the world beautifully: smart, outgoing, adventurous, and always ready for whatever came next.
Devin believed life was meant to be experienced fully. She loved to travel and chase new horizons, to lose herself in a good book, to ski fast and laugh hard. She could be found at concerts with the music loud and the night still young, cheering at hockey games, watching the Kentucky Derby, and any excuse to dress up and celebrate. Her social calendar was always full: filled with friends, plans, and memories in the making. Wherever she went, she was often the life of the party, not because she tried to be, but because her energy drew people in. She was fearless in the way she lived and loyal in the way she loved. She was always asking for a Diet Coke which now feels like one of the many little things that will always belong to her. At home and in her heart was Compass, her beloved dog, who was more than a pet; she was her constant companion and quiet anchor. Devin was the best big sister, loved all her family deeply, and close circle of friends. She showed up, she checked in, she made time. She lived loudly but loved gently, and those who knew her felt both.

Devin lived a life that burned bright: full of motion, music, laughter, connection, and the simple rituals that made life sweet. She reminded those around her to say yes to the trip, stay for one more song, read one more chapter, get dressed up just because, and love people while they are here. Her story is not defined by its length, but by its intensity and the way she filled every room she entered.
She leaves behind a silence that feels too big, but also a thousand moments that will never fade: ski runs and road trips, late-night conversations, crowded concerts, dog walks, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the night ends.
In honoring Devin, those who loved her will carry forward her spirit: adventurous, vibrant, and unapologetically herself, and we will look for her in music, the mountains, the open road, and every gathering that feels just a little brighter because she once stood there.
