DudLee Duane Faber was born on a chilly day January 11, 1969 in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Duane Lyle & Diane Mae (Lyons) Faber. He was the fifth sibling following Duane (Dewey - Washington), Dawn Moos (Morris – Michigan), Dane (Fairmont) & Darnel Ebeling (Layne – Trimont). He was wed in marriage to Rochelle Kabe and moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1992, with her son Cameron. Cameron became DudLee’s full time adoration along with their daughter’s Mercedes (1993 – Seattle), and Tasha (1995 Spokane) when they transferred with his company to Spokane, Washington. Their family of five moved to Highlands Ranch Colorado in 1997, built a home and then moved to Castle Rock in 2001. Boating, motorcycling, steaks on the grill and friends over were a huge past time.
DudLee “StudLee” was predeceased by his father Duane Faber who guided him to be the man that he was. His future life will be lived through his three children; Cameron, Mercedes, and Tasha. He was blessed to have four grandchildren, as well as many “adopted” children who loved him just the same. DudLee passed away doing what he loved most, being with friends that were more like family, and being on the open road where he let his mind feel free. Though he lived to be only 52, it seems like he lived centuries beyond that from the amount of lives that he touched personally.
There will be a Celebration of Life preformed in two locations to make sure that everyone is able to mourn a beautiful father, friend, and loyal church member. In Castle Rock, Colorado, we will be having a service at Plum Creek Community Church on August 4th at 5 pm, a place that he spent many of his days trying to build in our community. With the amount of loving family and dear friends in his home town second will be a service in his hometown of Sherburn, Minnesota at The Assembly of God Church on August 6th at 5:30 pm. This church was a major role in which shaped him to be the man of God he was.
Duane and Diane Faber started a life in a small town of Sherburn, Minnesota. Little did they know that he would branch out of that town with a graduating class of only a few more than 30 people to be known by people from every stretch of the country. His parents knowing how powerful of a leader he was, envisioned that he would one day become a Pastor. DudLee attended North Western to learn the word of God, and you guessed it, played football. His calling led him to start a family of three and be an inspirational Deacon. This wonderful father spent his life through acts of service for anyone that needed a helping hand. His generosity and playful spirit does not describe half the man that he was. A legacy for generations to come.
DudLee Duane Faber lived his life with three rules: Work hard but play even harder, love like you have known people your entire live, and smile like your life depends on it, because the Lord is good. His last breaths in Conifer, Colorado, he did just that, and he will be remembered by his devoted friends and family.
