Elizabeth Ann Southall

Elizabeth Ann Southall, 52, of Winnemucca Nevada, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2012 in Reno, Nevada. She was born on March 18, 1960 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to Bob and Pat Croissant. The family moved from Boulder to Castle Rock, Colorado when she was about one year old. She attended Douglas County Schools and received a certificate to work in a medical office from a business school in the Denver area. Liz was working towards her BS degree in counseling in Winnemucca. Liz married John Southall in May 1987. She has resided in Winnemucca Nevada for Seventeen years.

Liz loved most craft work. She was very close to her parents and grandparents and always closed her telephone calls with “I love you.” Referred to herself as “favorite aunt” to all her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, John Southall; her sons, Jeremiah of Ely, Nevada and Shawn of Winnemucca and two grandsons, Richard Vela and Rick Vela. She is also survived by her father, Bob Croissant of Sterling, Colorado; brothers, Steve (Lisa) Croissant of North Carolina and Chuck Croissant of Denver, Colorado; sister, Jeanie (Steve) Acker of Castle Rock, Colorado; several nieces and nephews, numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Croissant and her grandparents, Charles and Wilma Powers and Harvey and Mable Croissant.
