Eula Lea Klapal

Eula Lea Klapal, age 75, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1950, in Mullen, Nebraska, to her devoted parents, Elmer and Dolores Little. Eula spent her childhood in Mullen, where she developed a passion for athletics and the arts.

As a high school athlete, Eula excelled in track, volleyball, and cheerleading, demonstrating her competitive spirit and dedication. She went on to graduate from Kearney State College with a degree in Art, where she merged her love for sports with a deep appreciation for creativity. Eula was a talented cook and seamstress. She enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings and creating personalized cakes for birthdays, always adding her special touch to every occasion. Eula had a passion for travel, often finding peace and joy at the beach, where she could relax and take in the beauty of the ocean.

Eula’s love for life was matched only by her love for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Bryon Klapal, and her siblings, Dan Little and Linda Dooley. Eula was a proud mother to her children Shawn and Susan Klapal, Steve and Brandi West, and Bryon Troy Klapal. Her legacy lives on through her seven grandchildren: Cody Klapal, Skyler West, Aliah Klapal, Braden West, Makenna West, Matthew Klapal, and Channing Klapal, who will always remember her nurturing spirit and bright smile.

Eula was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dolores Little.

Eula's warm and vibrant personality touched all who knew her. She was a woman of great strength, compassion, and creativity, and she will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life.

A memorial service will be held at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104, on Tuesday, September 23, at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
