Evan was born in Bellevue, WA, on November 16, 2005, the second son of Brad and Gail Svoboda. After moving to Colorado in 2008, Evan grew up in Castle Pines and attended Lutheran High School in Parker,CO.
Evan was loved and cherished by his family and friends. His smile was infectious and could light up a room. Devotion to his faith was a priority for Evan. He was a gifted athlete and excelled in both soccer and track and field. He thoroughly enjoyed lifting weights, running, and swimming. He attended and was a member of Journey Church in Castle Pines, where he was active in his youth group throughout middle school and high school. He was an adventurous soul who loved the outdoors and dreamed of one day traveling the world in a converted Sprinter van. He was an encouraging friend who was always willing to help others through difficult times. Evan’s hugs and compassion for others brought light and joy to the world.
