Francesca Galiz, 83, of Castle Rock Colorado, passed away October 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on September 7, 1942 to Frank Galiz and Cyprian Gallegos-Galiz. She grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, alongside her three younger sisters.
Fran loved to travel and explored the world through her career as a flight attendant for over 40 years, where she flew with Frontier, Western, and then Delta Airlines.
During her retirement, Fran cared for her mother and had a vibrant social life where she volunteered with Wellspring Community and Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, and gathered with friends and family for game nights. She also loved spending time with pets, reading, and watching true crime shows.
Fran is survived by her three younger sisters, Tonie, Carmen, and Mikki; her nieces Courtnie and Candice; her nephew Ty; her great-niece Taylor; and her loving caregivers at Castle Rock Assisted Living, including Sandro who was very special to her. She was surrounded by love and will live on in their hearts and memories.
