I miss you Garrett.

There are no words for a loss this profound. 

Garrett, your strength, courage, and unwavering spirit inspired so many.  So, so many  and though your life was way too short at just 27, the impact you left with us personally is incalculable.  Your legacy and your spirit are priceless. 

You will NEVER be forgotten.  

Rest peacefully in our Savior's arms our beautiful hero. 

Our deepest sympathy for your family, and while the reining community has lot an incredible champion, Heaven has gained  a spiritual warrior. 

Rest in peace, ride free in Heaven's wide-open space, and may your sweet family and friends find comfort in the countless lives you have touched.

Devin & Jolene, you are in our thoughts and prayers as you maneuver through this season of grief.  Words cannot express how much our hearts ache for you.  

One memory I have of Garrett is when we were at a CPRHA show in McCook.   Devin was beside himself when Garrett decided to drive home after playing a baseball game and was running on no sleep.  Devin asked for prayer that he would have safe travels.   
We are still praying for you and yours that the presence of the Lord is near to you.

We met you Garrett (and your two younger brothers) through your grandparents Dave/Carol when you were about 7 or 8 years old. We were updated continuously throughout your life on what was going on with baseball, high school, college, jobs,  and this last part was praying continuously for that miracle to happen. I guess it did happen? WELCOME to your new mansion, prepared specially for you!! 
Our prayers continue as the Warren family feels your void and takes one step at a time in this process of the healing road.

Heavenly Father, I met Garrett and family  through his loving Grandmother Carol and all her praises and wonderful words about the family. We come before You today with hearts that are heavy with grief, yet overflowing with gratitude for the beautiful life of this beloved son and brother. Lord, the loss feels immense, and the space he left behind is vast. We ask that You wrap this family in Your arms of comfort, holding them close as they navigate this deep sorrow.Thank You, Lord, for the inspiring way he fought his battle. He did not fight in his own strength, but walked hand-in-hand with You every single step of the way. Thank You for the profound miracle of his testimony—that through his pain, his courage, and his unwavering faith, he ushered so many souls into Your holy presence.While his earthly battle has ended, we rejoice knowing he is now fully healed, resting in Your eternal joy. Let his legacy continue to live on in the hearts of everyone he brought closer to You. Give this family the strength to face the days ahead, the peace that passes all understanding, and the certain hope that they will be reunited with him one day in Your kingdom.In Jesus' name, we pray.Amen.

We lived across the hall from each other at WNCC. Such a good soul and funny guy. Crazy to see this. Prayers to the family, friends, and anyone that needs it. Rest in peace, Garrett.

I feel like I know you though I never met you. Your precious grandparents love was so deep for you and they gathered prayer warriors on your behalf as you walked through this final trial in your life, Garrett. They shared so many praises followed by prayer requests and we prayed and we prayed, you Grandma Carol's Wednesday Bible study group and the  Grandparents Carol and Dave's Thursday Bible study group as we shared God's Word together. I wish I had met you personally because you have left such a legacy of a "Christlike" son of God. What joy to know you are with Jesus now and forever. And Parents, Grandparents, all family and friends, you are still in our prayers as you walk through this different season of life without your beloved Garrett.  May the good Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, be gracious to you and grant you peace.

I feel like I knew you Garrett. I have heard about you, and all your family, since we met
your grandparents, through church, in Woodland Park. They talked about you often, and shared with us videos of your horse rides. We could see how much they loved you, and your entire family, and how proud they were of you! May the love of our great Lord  guide and comfort you in the days ahead!

I will never forget the day I took these  photos, it was May 4th 2025. I remember your smile, your love for your horse and your  peaceful  contagious spirit, I even remember exactly where I was standing when I took this. I know you are riding free Garrett, and GOD has another angel to watch over us ♥️ you will be missed more than words can say and always in our heart!

I remember bringing out your first vending machine so you could earn money for sports. I think you were only 4 years old at the time.

Fast forward through all the horse shows, where you were always the first to encourage us all, and all those Sundays when you helped me “fix” the little things with my horse. You had a way of making everyone around you better. Your positivity, kindness, and unwavering encouragement left a lasting impact on my life and so many others.

I know you’re riding free now, and while our hearts are broken, your memory will live on forever. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️🐴💙

Garrett, you were such an athletic determined guy. From the time you could walk, your world was all about baseball. With natural grace you could toss a ball across the field. Horses weren't for you- it was all about baseball.  Until you stepped up on a reiner.  You were just as beautiful horseback as you were on the field. I'm so glad I got to see you join the family raising and riding outstanding reiners.  Until we meet again- keep the gate open for us.

Devin, Jolene and family, please know that you are all in our deepest prayers after the passing of Garrett.  We remember him as a young boy, who was always kind and friendly towards us.   We have faith that Garrett is at peace now and the Lord has welcomed him with open arms.  Peace to you and your family at this time of loss, and know that the Lord will hold you up as well.
