Henry Supan Gimena, 61, passed away November 4, 2024 in Castle Rock, Colorado. He was born on October 17, 1963 in the Philippines to Felix and Gloria Gimena. Henry attended Dominican School and later went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Angeles University Foundation. Henry spent most of his life in the Philippines, but moved to the United States in 2005.
When Henry moved to the United States, he worked as a caregiver for Assured Assisted Living. Henry was a hard worker and spent 19 years with the company. It was here that he met his wife Hasmin. They were married in Castle Rock on December 16, 2017.
Henry’s passion in life was cars, especially working on them. He loved watching YouTube videos about cars and was an avid basketball fan. He was a phenomenal chef, and especially enjoyed making Sinigang and Chicken Adobo. Spending time with his family was his most favorite thing; he loved spending time with his wife and his daughters. Henry was kind, loving, humble and brave and his incredible hugs will be missed by so many people who loved him.
Henry is survived by his wife, Hasmin Gutierrez; daughters Kaysha Gimena and Aliana Gimena; step-sons Kevin, Kenneth, and Jasper; brother Hilbert (Pamela), brother Herman (Myra); sister Hilda (June Paris), sister Helen (Joe Medrano), and sister-in-law Rowena. Henry was preceded in death by his brother Homer.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 11am – 2pm at Olinger Andrews funeral home.
