Dean graduated from Steele North Dakota High School and received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of North Dakota. He had a career in Automobile Finance and Insurance with General Motors Acceptance Corporation. He had a passion for the Local Coffee Shop and The Table of Knowledge.
He is survived by his nephews: Joe Welker, Bruce Bertelsen and Mark Bertelsen.
