Jeremy Holloway Gray, age 30, of Larkspur, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Jeremy was born in Littleton, Colorado on April 2, 1993, the son of James Gray and Sarah Gray.
Jeremy was a graduate of Castle View High School and later received his Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies from Colorado Mountain College. Jeremy worked for the outdoor company Flylow Gear in Denver. In his younger years, Jeremy was a proud Boy Scout, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout with his brother, Travis. Jeremy had an adventurous passion for Telemark skiing, hiking, playing disc golf, tennis and baseball. He loved to travel, including exploring the low jungles of Guatemala, the deserts of the southwest and especially the high Rocky Mountains where he felt most at home. He loved attending bluegrass festivals and concerts with his family and friends, in Colorado and all over the world.
Jeremy is survived by his parents Jim and Sarah; his siblings Travis Gray and Rachael Paschall; his nephew Cooper Paschall; five uncles, four aunts, and numerous cousins; and Jeremy's long-time love, Mia Piccolotti. Jeremy loved his dogs, Stranger and Seldom so much, and he strived to live as any dog would want their owner to; with unconditional compassion, love, and happiness.
Jeremy will be remembered as a galvanizing force in his family and was always checking in with his family and friends. His intellect and insight was uncanny, always challenging those around him to do better. In his brother's dark time, Jeremy left a message to encourage everyone he loved: "Wake Up and Smile at the World!" Hold that message in your heart in memory of Jeremy.
A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel in Castle Rock. Afterwards, please join us at Festival Park in Castle Rock to continue celebrating Jeremy. We will share memories and stories and listen to some of his favorite tunes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeremy's name to Advocates for Recovery (www.advocatesforrecovery.org). Details to follow.
