To know Jodi was to know a woman who lived at full volume. She was a "burst of personality" bubbly, spirited, and unapologetically herself. You never had to wonder what Jodi was thinking; she spoke her mind with a boldness that was as refreshing as it was entertaining.
That honesty was matched only by the size of her heart. Jodi loved with everything she had. Whether it was her 37-year career at Avaya where she was a high achiever, receiving countless recognitions and awards or her time spent with friends and family, she poured herself into her people. Her happy place was at The Eagles, surrounded by friends, or traveling to visit her grandson in Georgia.
Jodi was married for over 30 years to the love of her life, John Orcutt, who preceded her in death in 2023. Their reunion brings comfort to those who knew the depth of their bond.
Above all, Jodi was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her "whole-heart" love found its truest home with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Ally; her son-in-law, Chris; and her 6-year-old grandson JEB, who was the absolute light of her life. She also leaves behind her parents, Frank and Jackie Whittier, and her brother, Wade.
