John proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He spent seven years working security with GS4. During that time he worked with many local police officers and the RTD (regional transport district). He married Rosemary Hargett on August 22, 2003 and they eventually settled in Castle Rock, Colorado.
John is survived by his wife, Rosemary Hargett-French; his son Marcel French; his daughter Monique French Blackwell (Matt); and his son Marc French (Heather); his brother Rick French; Four grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
