John B Mikle, 75, of Larkspur CO, left us to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his home with his life partner, Karen Jonas, by his side. He was born February 14, 1943 in Lower Merion Township Montgomery County Pennsylvania to Valentine and Kathleen (Paine) Mikle. John was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and Drexel University in Science and Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
John’s career encompassed comprehensive experience in information systems from 1964 until his retirement in 2010, launching two successful software consulting businesses during this time, one in Europe and the Pacific Rim and another here in the U.S.
John’s loves were the outdoors, animals, flying, travel and futures trading. He began seriously jeeping in 2012 and became a Trail Guide for Jeep Jamboree in 2014.
He is survived by his sons Paul Mikle (Colorado) and Seth Mikle (Vermont), grandchildren Connor and Tia Mikle (Colorado) and Gabriel Mikle (New York), sister-in-law June Roman (Florida) and nieces Linda Mikle, Diane Dougerty and Megan Richards all from Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Kathleen Mikle and his two brothers, Ron Mikle and David Mikle.
