John Edwin Waltz

John graduated from Aurora Central High School and joined the United States Navy. During his time in the Navy, he worked on aircraft carriers. After leaving the military, he had a successful career in construction, working for BMC, Adamo, and Kuhn’s Construction. John loved working with his hands and was an accomplished woodworker.

The Lord brought John together with the love of his life, Sandy. They were married August 26, 2017. He was a proud member of the Eagles and loved going to the rodeo. His true passion was music, the Lord, his friends, and family. John was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed by all those who loved him.

John is survived by his wife, Sandy; son Ben Arnold, daughter Brittany Williams, daughter Tiffany Hermes, son Zach Arnold, daughter Jessica Giles-Eastman, and daughter Crystal Giles; grandchildren Kalen, Ellie Rose, Kaydence, Charolette, Ruby, Wyatt, Blayke, Mikah, Isayah, Ashley, Michael, Melanie, Joseph, Tristan, Michael, Ashley, Bayley, Gracelynn, Colby, and Kennedy; sister Judy (Ron) Bauer, sister Karen Kit Arnold, sister Peggy (Dennis) Royer; brother Bob Waltz, brother Ron (Janet) Hildebrandt, brother Rick (Marlene) Hildebrandt, and brother Fred; 11 loving nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Leroy Waltz; mother Jacqueline Kay (Winslow, Waltz) Hildebrandt; step-father August "Gus" Hildebrandt; sister-in-law, Norma Waltz; grandparents; and nephew Aaron Waltz.
