Ken was born in Memphis, Tenn. To a loving Navy family of four sons. Through the Navy the family lived all over the US and Guam.
Known to be a bright and loving son, Ken graduated from high school in McLean, VA and studied chemical engineering at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
In 1974, Ken married Denice Angle, from Virginia, and they started their careers in Memphis. Cinti, Ohio was their next locale and son, Nick was born in 1978. Then, Pittsburg, PA became their home, where Adam was born in 1980.
As an engineer, Ken worked and excelled in numerous industries. Because he loved technology, Ken spent 1999 learning software engineering at CU Boulder. Following the completion of this knowledge, Ken worked for Lockheed Martin and finished his career working on the Artemis project that saw the dark side of the moon in 2026.
All who knew Ken, recognized his conscientious integrity and warm, witty demeanor. Family came first and foremost in his priorities and he and Denice celebrated their 52nd anniversary in June 2026.
Loved by so many, Ken Loritscho will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel in the Starlight Room, located at 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, on July 16, 2026, at 11:00 am.
