Kevin Keith Elliott

Kevin was born on February 10, 1956, in Texas, and grew up in Colorado. As a young boy, Kevin loved being on the local swim team, playing football, and enjoying the great outdoors. As he grew up, he found a love for snow skiing-which he did almost every day in college. Kevin graduated from Western State with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then furthered his education at Colorado School of Mines where he earned his Engineering degree.

Kevin and Sandy met, fell in love, and got married in San Diego, California on September 5, 1987. Melissa, Kevin’s daughter, was excited to become the big sister when Kevin and Sandy had Sarah in 1992, and Lauren and Lindsey in 1993. Kevin, Sandy, and their girls moved to Las Vegas in 1997. They loved spending weekends boating and water skiing on Lake Mead, taking the girls to soccer games and dance recitals, frequent trips to Disneyland and SeaWorld, and swimming in the pool. He loved their annual family vacations to Colorado where they would go white water rafting, hiking, and biking in the summer, and snow ski for a week in the winter. Quality family time was always the focus of his life.

In 2015, Kevin and Sandy relocated to Castle Rock, CO, a town that Kevin took great pride in working for. They built a beautiful home there that had an amazing view of Pike’s Peak. Kevin and Sandy loved going to Colorado Rockies baseball games and Denver Broncos games, and they especially loved watching the beautiful “Bronco” sunsets from their backyard.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 30 years, Sandy, and his daughters, Melissa (Matt) Smith, Sarah, Lauren, and Lindsey. Kevin will also be fondly remembered as “Granddaddy” by his three grandchildren, Grayson, Gavin, and Charleston, and by his sister, Pam (Jim) McMenamin, nephew, Chris (Erica) and niece, Cori (Bob). Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Reed and Mary Elliott.
