Growing up, the Slack family welcomed me into their home and life with open arms. Kyle was such a big and wonderful part of my life from when I was young until I was well into adulthood.

I have so many of my very best memories to attribute to the Slack family and especially to Kyle. I am so grateful to have known Kyle for as long as I did and that we were able to form so many amazing memories together. I owe countless laughs and moments of joy to him and his spirit.

He was a person who will be remembered as someone who filled so many people with happiness and who himself was creative, displayed tenacity, and overwhelming kindness. He lived an amazingly full life; may he be at peace.

Sending all my love and strength to Blaine, Terri, Jeff, and Bayley <3

I admittedly only knew Kyle tangentially through my few interactions with him at the school we shared. Despite this I knew from others that were closer to him that Kyle was a great man who lived a strong yet tragically short life.

My strongest memories of him were the many times we shared visits to the school nurse for our respective health issues. I can only hope that the pleasant company I shared with him in those unfortunate times could be looked at fondly by him as well.

Let he forever be at peace.

Our sincere thanks to all of you who befriended Kyle during his 25 years of amazing life. Kyle was adventurous, care-free, witty, selfless, and so much more. Your kindness was a significant influence, in turn Kyle left his mark on us all. God Bless
