Ladd Len Anderson, born November 25, 1978, was born with a wrench in his hand and a love for bringing old iron equipment back to life in his heart. Ladd was a special person in his own unique ways. Even when he was little, he preferred a quiet and simple life, being on his own, away from large gatherings and the stress of crowds.
This way of living led to many adventures that left his family and others wondering how he managed to accomplish such large tasks without help. He could have completely stumped a team of highly trained engineers and required a full crew of OSHA safety officials to write up the number of violations occurring at any given moment. Ladd was someone who, once he set out to get something done, you could count on the fact that it would get done come hell or high water.
Despite Ladd’s preference for solitude, where a campfire and a fishing pole meant more than the biggest concerts or special events, he loved his family. He had a passion for being at Grandpa Dutch’s, where endless old equipment and treasures waited for him to “repair”, even though Dutch called it “destroying”. There was never a piece of equipment that had a drop of gas or a good battery, that was safe when Ladd was around. He created plenty of havoc in the path of fixing things up. Staying mad at someone with such a consistent, shit-eating grin was nearly impossible. This grin came with an unmatched ability to repair and build things that should never have been possible, yet he always found a way to make them work.
Ladd is survived by numerous family members and friends, far too many to mention them all. Dennie and Laurie Anderson, Brenda Jerrold, Bobbie and Michael Pruitt, Trinity and Nic Cordova, Malachi Sparks, Hannah, Rowdi, Chansi, Cole and Melissa Ernst and family, Heather and Daniel Thornton, Amber Anderson, Dink and Kristi Anderson, Kody and Hailey Pruitt and family, Hope and Pete Batterton and family, Seth Anderson, Billie and Bill Oliver and family, Tammy Julin and family, family of Jim Jerrold, Casey Love and family, Garrett & Savannah Love and family, Kory Love and Kyle Love
Ladd was preceded in death by his grandparents Dutch and Betty Anderson and James and Janet Jerrold; nephew Jaykob Pruitt; uncles Monty Anderson and Jim Jerrold.
