

GAUTHIER, LEROY ROBERT, 92, died May 24, 2014, at his son’s home in Franktown, CO, following a long illness with congestive heart failure. Services are being held Saturday, May 31, at 1:00 p.m. at the Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry St., Castle Rock, CO. Parking is accessed via Fourth Street and is on the west side of the chapel.
LeRoy was born in Kendrick, CO, one of seven siblings, and lived most of his life in the Denver area. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Donna Elta Gauthier and his six siblings. LeRoy is survived by his son Larry Gauthier (Bette) of Franktown, CO, daughter Dianne Parks (Jim) of Fort Morgan, CO; four grandchildren Chris Marston (Karalea), Keith Marston (Megan), Jason Gauthier, and Katie Pelton (Ryan); and two great-grandchildren Lexy and Case.
LeRoy served in the Navy for three years and worked as a business agent for the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He supported products that were Made In America. He and Donna enjoyed 3-par golf, square dancing, pinochle, RV’ing to water ski lakes, snow birding in AZ, and family. LeRoy was an avid sports fan — the Denver Broncos, the Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Rockies, in particular.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Heart Association, or The Denver Hospice.
