Marilyn shared 72 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband and sweetheart, Stanley M. Franklin. Their life together was a testament to enduring love, commitment, and the blessings of building a family together.
She was the loving mother of four sons: Raymond, married to Debra; Ronald who preceded her in death; Randall, married to Susan; and Roger, married to Jennifer. Her family was one of her greatest blessings, and she devoted her life to loving, supporting, and caring for those she held dear. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives are part of the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
Marilyn lived a life of service and devotion to her family and her faith. She loved God deeply and faithfully served her church throughout her life. One of her special commitments was raising funds to support missionaries serving in the field, helping share the love of God with others. Her generous heart and willingness to serve reflected the faith she held so dear.
To Marilyn, a life well lived was a life spent loving God, caring for family, and serving others. She gave of herself freely and faithfully, leaving an example of devotion that will continue to inspire the generations who follow her.
Though her family will deeply miss her presence, the love she shared, the faith she demonstrated, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on October 24, 2026, at Grace Chapel, 933 Evalena Circle, Castle Rock, CO.
